Okay, Sims 2: Season is cool
Posted in blog on March 2nd, 2007I only made it through the first day of summer last night…but spring is pretty darn cool. Yes, I did use the “motherlode” cheat: mostly because I just want to get to exploring as quickly as possible.
Spring: rain and lightening. Coolness. The lightening freaked me out a bit at first, but it’s pretty slick. I didn’t notice any particular discomfort if my sims were outside in it. Couldn’t manage to get either of them to splash in puddles.
Maxis needs a thermometer. Checking the weather report is nifty, but I’d like something like a thermometer (even it’s something the sims need to purchase).
Gardening or fishing is a big time-suck but very cool. Although my apple trees were getting sickly until I harvested them–on the first day of summer! Umm…apples aren’t good until Fall…
The thing that makes it most irritating is that the apples were ready for harvest before the strawberries OR tomatoes. WTF man!
I haven’t noticed too many new objects; just a few new styles (mostly ones I won’t be using as I’m not a fan of country). I love being able to set different hair for different outfits. Way cool.
I can’t wait to play some more! (And I anticipate the recolors/new meshes to come from the fans are going to be way cool too).
